OK, so of course as you’ve already said, it works all the lower body muscles BUT! Did you know it’s also working the upper body too - you need to keep yourself upright for example, so you’ll be working the “core” area (yes, abs here) and the lower back to stablise you in the upright position. Cool huh?
The actual reality though, is that the exercise bike will simply be good cardio and not be an exercise to build muscle - that only comes from overloading the muscle in order to force it to adapt (ie, grow)
Well it will primarily work your legs. It could work your core statically if you tuck your abs in while biking. However lots of people don’t really think of this and will mainly just be using the legs. You won’t really build muscle, it is a crdio workout so at the end when you see results you will see it overall your body and not only your legs.
