maybe with some veggies and chicken
i like to put my pasta in a skillet with some healthy oil and veggies and chicken….or if u are a sauce lover forget the alfredo and try it with a red sauce
well if all you have is pasta to fix ok..try it with just tomato sauce or some vinegrette and tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and some chicken. but if you love pasta and plan on eating it during your diet, switch to whole wheat..still just as yummy. or try brown or wild rice. mix it with different veggies and it tastes great. try to limit sauces and go for something lighter like tomatoes or lemon juice and pepper.
Wheat pasta will work on a diet. Try going to some recipe sites and search by ingredient. foodnetwork.com, kraftfoods.com, allrecipes.com, epicurious.com
you have A pasta. I am not sure I understand, but pasta is nost the thing to eat while on a diet, it is empty calories and a lot of them, but if you really need to eat it, ( I couldn’t live with out it) then use whole grain pasta.
Do not use fat of any kind when proparing the noodles and use half of th salt you would usually use in the water, I would also stick with a whole wheat noodle as they have more nutritional value and keep your serving size small to medium.
The sauce you use should have a low fat content and you should try to stay away from cream sauces like Alfredo and Carbonnara. I would stick to Primevera, Mixed Vegtable or Plain Tomato sauces as they contain less calories.
INGREDIENTS
4 ounces Romano cheese, cut into 1-inch pieces
6 cloves garlic
2 2/3 cups loosely packed fresh basil leaves
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup lemon juice
Hot cooked spaghetti
DIRECTIONS
In a food processor, combine Romano cheese and garlic; cover and process for 30 seconds. Add the basil, nuts, salt and pepper; cover and process until combined, about 15 seconds. While processing, add the lemon juice; process about 15 seconds longer or until combined. Toss the spaghetti.
One thing that is REALLY good is using fatfree salad dressing on it while it’s still hot. There’s lots to choose from so you won’t get bored. There is also spinach pasta and tomato pasta out there if you like. Bon Apetite!

Don’t put oil in the pasta. Use whole grain pasta. Use smaller plates when serving to decrease portion sizes.

Mix whole wheat spaghetti with cooked spaghetti squash. It’s delicious and lower in carbs and calories.
Serve with your favorite homemade meatless tomato sauce to control the amount of oil and sugar in the recipe.
Watch the portion size so you don’t overdo the calories. Watch the amount of grating cheese as a topping. Don’t eat pasta every day.
Mix a little pasta with a variety of stir fried veggies in a healthy oil like canola or olive oil. Top with fresh herbs.

Try Spaghetti Squash instead. It’s like pasta, and it is much healthier for you. Cooked tomatoes are much more healthy for you that fresh ones.

don’t use cream or any white sauce recipe, stick to the tomato based sauces and refrain from using oil
