I want to start a gym/tanning salon in my area. How do I know that people would want something like that? This is something that I have wished that our area had for a while now. Do people go to places like that?

Yes people go to these places. You can never be sure that it will be successful…there are many factors that influence th esuccess of any business (how people feel about your particular business, customer service, pricing, etc.). As with any new business, be prepared to work at least 10-12 hour days at the business, meeting with clients and bankers, doing paperwork, etc.

Yes, Fitzone just opened down the street with fantastic results… and there is a huge YMCA just a few miles away with pool, daycare, and everything you could want! She’s doesn’t have tanning, but has a booming mid morning and evening business.
