& what to do once you’re sore from yesterday’s workout, but want to work out again the next day? Someone once told me it’s not goot to work out while being sore cause I won’t get results since muscles didn’t get a chance to heal - is that true? Also, another person said that to prevent soreness, one day I should work out on my upper body, and the next day on my lower, and just alternate. However, I do cardio which works both upper and lower, so I’m not sure what to do.

After your workout do stretches, if you’re doing cardio do lunges, and hold for 30 seconds each time. Stretches are best after the workout because the muscle is warm and is able to stretch more without causing the strain.
Keep working out everyday, the pains will stop.

It is best to switch your workouts, there are many ways of doing it and upper body lower body is a good method. As for doing cardio everyday that is fine. Cardio is more for endurance then for building muscle. To avoid the soreness or limit the soreness you need to stretch before and after your workout. The before stretch helps to prevent injuries that can happen during a workout. Working out with out stretching prior to it can lead to pulled muscles. The stretch after a work out helps maintain flexibility. Working out tightens the muscles and if not stretched after wards will cause more of the after workout soreness and a decrease in flexibility. Also make sure you are getting plenty of water during the workout to keep the muscles hydrated

You can workout when you sore, just not hurting bad sore.A good workout should make you tight and sore the next day, that means you did a good workout.Try a stem room if accessible,or a hot tub to loosen up the tight muscle group.Make sure your diet has plenty of protein for recovery. The muscles actually grow during rest, you must give them plenty of recovery time or your defeating your workout, and could actually tear down your muscles instead of growing they will become damaged and shrink. One good workout a weak per muscle group is plenty.I use to body build and was really big so I know what I am speaking.Take care of yourself you will do fine, remember diet is the most important part of your workout.Good luck I hope you reach your goal!
