Hi, I want to buy a protein shake for when I lift, but it says right on the bottle there not for weight loss. And this summer I want to drop 40-50lbs.
So basically:
What is the best protein shake, mix or premed?
How do you lose weight when if you drink a protein shake and stay on a diet?

You can take protein shakes and still cut calories so that you’ll lose weight. Simply burn more calories than you take in. You need to burn 3500 calories to lose a pound so burn 500 more than you take in daily to lose a pound a week. If you want to lose more, workout more. As far as what kind, just go online or to a supplement store and get some kind of whey protein that has over 20g of protein per serving. I haven’t found a big difference between brands.
